About
Hello!!! I am a second-year Ph.D. scholar in the Cancer Biology Lab, Department of Bioscience and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati under the supervision of Prof. Ajaikumar B. Kunnumakkara. My primary interest lies in exploring the mechanistic cues of tumor pathophysiology in the early stage of transformation. I believe that cancer cells are both static and dynamic in the temporal planes, and intervening at the early stage will help circumvent the disease.
The discovery of microRNAs has brought a paradigm shift in biological research, making it possible for us to focus on the molecular aspects of regulation in disease etiology. My research goals are to develop novel site-specific and effective treatment regimens using non-coding RNAs.
